The Local Church

Ladies and Gentlemen – Where do we go to learn about the “things of God”? – The Local Church!

Please know that EVERYTHING that Almighty God intends to do in the earth will be done through His Church Universal – The Bride of Christ!

This local assembly of believers who prays together, worships together, and loves one another as we are commanded to do, THIS IS the Body of Christ.  Yes, we have many members, various functions, and different cells however, scripture is very clear that we are ALL ONE BODY!

Our focus is always on the Lord God Almighty! He is our very source and we were all created in His image. From God’s perspective, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, Catholic nor Protestant, Democrat nor Republican, neither rich nor poor, slave nor free.  Galatians 3:26-28

  1. Jesus had twelve disciples that He poured three years of His Life, His Death and His Resurrection into their lives to share His Gifts with us. The Apostles’ Doctrine was to do exactly what Jesus did when He was one of us, here on earth.
  2. Jesus had Fellowship like attending weddings, funerals, feasts, fasting, prayer times, teaching times in the temple (daily) and Jesus went from house to house, hillsides to harbors, boat rides, to mountain tops showing us all how to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father.
  3. Jesus made a new covenant with us at His last Passover meal – Communion with Him!  Jesus shows us how we can become part of Him and He is in us. We remember Him in the “breaking of the bread” and every time that we celebrate Holy Communion we feed our Spirit!
  4. Jesus taught us how to pray. Jesus gave us the outline of prayer. Jesus gave us the attitude of prayer. Jesus demonstrated the Power of Prayer. Jesus proclaims that “My House shall BE a house of Prayer”! Jesus gave us the example of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane as He says - Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.    Mark 14:32-36

When we pray, we must believe that what we ask for is in agreement with God’s Divine Purpose for our lives. God’s Word is very clear about the fact that when two of you shall agree, it will be done!
