Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of ALL ages,

How do you think Jesus would want you to bring in the new year?
I think if He was standing with us, right now as the New Year turns over, He wouldn't hand us a list of goals or resolutions. I think He would invite us into a new posture!
What do I mean by that? Well Jesus always worked in a certain Way. But He didn't make a lot of noise when He did things. It wasn't a spectacle, it wasn't hype. It was ALL about alignment and I think He would tell us to start the year with quiet! Because every time He stepped into a new season He stepped away to PRAY!
It wasn't to escape the world, but He wanted to hear clearly so the new year doesn't need more volume, it actually makes more awareness! I think He would tell us to take inventory of our heart, and NOT just our calendar because Jesus was never impressed with activity that left souls untouched! So, He'd ask us what's shaping us right now?
What is Healing us; what is Hardening us, and we need to deal with that and if they keep calling us to a place of GRATITUDE before any ambition!
Because He GAVE THANKS before He ever did a Miracle and Gratitude would remind us that God has already been Faithful in the past; which keeps us from chasing the future like we're running behind. I think He presses towards reconciliation not because it's easy but because unresolved bitterness and unforgiveness poisons tomorrow before it ever starts – Peace matters more than being right!
I think before He would push us any dramatic vows, He would ask us for daily Faithfulness! Jesus would say to you:
FOLLOW ME TODAY! And then tomorrow, then again the next day! It's very simple and I think He tells us to serve people who can't repay us! You know LOVE that costs something is how He measured a Life that's well lived!
I think finally He would tell us to Trust The Father with what we can't control!! Because the future is uncertain but it's not ungoverned!
So Jesus were to mark the new year with us – I think He would ask us not what we plan to do, nor what our resolutions are, but He'd ask who are we becoming and I think He would say just very simply FOLLOW ME!
So let's follow Him as we head into 2026 –
