Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of ALL ages, have you ever been overwhelmed by affection? Think about how dogs will greet you whenever you are gone from their presence. Returning home from the grocery store, you would think that such enthusiasm is a joyous reunion. Even if I step outside to retrieve the mail from the mailbox, I am met with this attitude of – what did you get for me? – tails wagging & nose sniffing as dogs are totally focused on what I am doing.

What IF we were to become more like our dogs in attitude and actions towards Holy Spirit’s Presence in our lives?

Holy Spirit – YOU ARE HERE with me!  What have You got that is just for me? Let me smell Your Goodness! Lets go on a WALK in the Park! Can I have kisses? Watch me chase a squirrel!  Do You want to PLAY?  When do WE eat?

The BEST You can give me is POSITIVE Affirmations – GOOD Boy or GOOD Girl!

JESUS SAYS in  John 16:13

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into ALL Truth [full and complete Truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future].

He-Holy Spirit will Glorify and Honor Me, because He (the Holy Spirit) will take from what is Mine and will disclose it to you.

ALL Things that the Father has are Mine. Because of this I said that He [the Holy Spirit] will take from what is Mine and will reveal it to you.

Dear ones, Holy Spirit is a Person, not an IT.  Many people may think that the Holy Ghost is like a cartoon character of Casper, the friendly ghost. This is so wrong on so many levels. Jesus told Nicodemus that Holy Spirit is like the Wind.

AS IT IS WRITTEN IN   John 3:3-12

Jesus answered him, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—Spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he or she cannot [ever] see and experience the Kingdom of God.

Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?

Jesus answered, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the Kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is SPIRIT.

Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must BE BORN AGAIN [reborn from above—Spiritually transformed, Renewed, Sanctified].’

The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with EVERYONE who is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus said to Him, How can these things be possible?

 

If I told you earthly things [that is, things that happen right here on earth] and you do not believe, how will you Believe and Trust Me if I tell you Heavenly things?

So how do we show our LOVE for our dogs? We care for them by grooming them, bathing them, giving them a consistent routine daily! We do the things for them that they cannot DO for themselves. Now reverse the rules, knowing that we are completely dependent on Holy Spirit TO DO for us, those things that we cannot do for ourselves!

Our Protection against ALL the fiery darts of the enemies.

Our Nourishment as we FEED on the living Word daily for His Wisdom, His Guidance and His TRUTH about our lives.

Our Refuge in storms and especially during fireworks, Holy Spirit calms our minds & bodies with His confidence that EVERYTHING is going to be ALRIGHT!

Remember the same Holy Spirit Power that raised JESUS from the grave IS IN US!

Greater is He that is in me, than any demonic person, place or thing that is in this world.

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, can I put my head in Your Lap and enjoy Your Presence?

I LOVE You LORD!

Make this SO, Dear LORD – make this SO!
