Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of ALL ages, have you ever struggled to get out of bed early in the morning? Most of us have experienced the five stages of waking up - Denial Anger Bargaining Depression and finally Acceptance! Can you hear that voice telling you to make up your bed before coming to breakfast? Well, maybe not!

I like to WALK when I PRAY so that I don’t fall asleep while I’m walking! Sometimes I get a Damascus Road experience as The LORD knocks me off my ‘high horse’ and opens certain scriptures to me.

God breathes LIFE in His Word with highlights of understanding. If you are receptive to what He is saying, then you may gain understanding – you realize that there is LIFE in the Words written in the Bible.

Examples in  Isaiah 60:1-5

ARISE [from spiritual depression to a new life], SHINE [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD]; for your Light has come, and the GLORY and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.

For in fact, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness will cover the peoples;

But the LORD will rise upon you [Jerusalem] and His Glory and brilliance will be seen on you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the Brightness of your rising.

Lift up your eyes around you and see; they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from far away, and your daughters will be looked after at their side.

Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will tremble [with JOY] and REJOICE, because the abundant wealth of the seas will be brought to you, the WEALTH of the NATIONS will come to you.

Dear ones, we must ARISE & SHINE EVERYDAY! We know for certain that JESUS – The LIGHT has already come into this world and we are aglow with His Radiance! We carry His Light to a dark and insane world filled with lost and lonely people.

When you ARISE in the Glory of the LORD that He has placed on your Life, it attracts more of the Glory of the LORD! His Glory will actually be seen over you!

In the same way that money, attracts money, favor attracts favor, mercy attracts Mercy – so Glory attracts GLORY! Anything in the Kingdom that is stewarded well INCREASES! It attracts more of the same!

To him who has, much more will be given – this is the nature of His Kingdom!

The opposite is also true in that IF I treasure things that are WRONG, it will actually attract more of the same!  IF I value gossip and I don’t have that gate to guard my language, guard my heart, then I would actually attract gossip. BE careful what you LISTEN too!

JESUS SAYS IN  Mark 4:21-25

Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear [what the Spirit is saying]

Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
