Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of ALL ages, one of my favorite people in the Bible is shepherd boy, turned giant-slayer, warrior who became a man after God’s own heart. David was a singer-song writer who captured emotions by writing Psalms like this one:

AS IT IS WRITTEN IN   Psalm 139:1-24

Oh LORD, You have searched me and known me.

You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thoughts afar off.

You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with ALL my ways.

For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, Oh LORD, You know it altogether.

You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your Hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your Presence?

If I ascend into Heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

IF I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Even there Your Hand shall lead me,
And Your Right Hand shall hold me.

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will Praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

Your Eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your Book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

How precious also are Your Thoughts to me, Oh God!
How great is the sum of them!

IF I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.

Search me, Oh God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;

And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in The Way EVERLASTING.

.

Dear ones, we are encouraged to meditate on Scriptures daily! God’s Word is a lamp to our feet to show us the Way that we should walk-in.

In The Garden – Alan Jackson

I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses

And the Voice I hear, falling on my ear The Son of God discloses

And He walks with me and He talks with me

And He tells me I am His own

And the JOY we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known

I'd stay in the garden with Him though the night around me is falling

But He bids me go through the voice of woe His Voice to me is calling

And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own

And the JOY we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known

And the joy we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known

HALLELUJAH!!!
