Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, this is a time for looking FORWARD to a NEW YEAR on the calendar of our LIFE! We have this privilege of choosing WHO we walk with by FAITH and WHO we Believe is FOR US and not against US!
WE ARE the CHILDREN of Almighty GOD-Jehovah and We Shall Be Like Him!
Our Prayer this day is from 3John 1:1-6
The elder [of the CHURCH addresses this letter] to the Beloved and Esteemed Gaius, whom I LOVE IN TRUTH.
Beloved, I PRAY that in every way you may succeed and prosper and BE in Good Health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [Spiritually].
For I was greatly pleased when [some of the] brothers (& sisters) came [from time to time] and testified to your [Faithfulness to the] TRUTH [of the Gospel Message], that is, how You Are Walking IN Truth.
I have no greater JOY than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living [their lives] in the TRUTH.
Beloved, you are acting Faithfully in what you are providing for the brothers (& sisters), and especially when they are strangers; and they have testified before the CHURCH of your love and friendship. You will do well to [assist them and] send them on their way in a manner Worthy of God.

Dear ones, as we begin this NEW YEAR, we should FOCUS our undivided attention on JESUS as the Author and the Finisher of our FAITH! Recognizing that The LORD of Heaven and earth is IN CONTROL – NOTHING Happens without His Knowledge!
He is NOT surprised by the MESS we have made of our circumstances because we did NOT carry EVERYTHING to GOD in PRAYER!

Oh, what Peace we often forfeit Oh, what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry Everything to God in Prayer
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged. Take it to the LORD in Prayer
Can we find a Friend so Faithful, Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness. Take it to the Lord in Prayer
Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior still our Refuge, take it to the LORD in Prayer!
Do Thy Friends despise forsake Thee? Take it to the LORD in Prayer!
In His Arms He’ll take and Shield thee; You will find a Solace there!
