Today's Proclamation 09-21-2023

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, have you ever participated in “Let’s Make A Deal”? There are plenty of IF – THEN scenarios in the Bible and one of the most famous is written in  Genesis 18:16-33

And Abraham came near to the LORD-GOD and said,

Would You also destroy the Righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty Righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty Righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the Righteous with the wicked, so that the Righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You!

Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is Right? So the LORD said,

IF I find in Sodom fifty Righteous within the city, THEN I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Then Abraham answered and said, Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty Righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five? So He said,

IF I find there forty-five, THEN I will not destroy it.

And he spoke to Him yet again and said, Suppose there should be forty found there?  So He said,

I will not do it for the sake of forty.

Then he said, Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there? So He said,

I will not do it if I find thirty there.

Then he said, Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there? And He said,

I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.

Dear ones, please notice this Divine Encounter has a pattern that we can follow today.

First, we make a Godly Appeal -

Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the Righteous with the wicked

A Godly Appeal takes into account the GOALS of the Person with Authority!

A Just & Righteous GOD has the ability to DESTROY both Sodom & Gomorrah -

Would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?

This Godly Appeal Creates an Alternative -

Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?

Now we can Request an Opportunity to change history – GOD SAYS

I will not destroy it (the city) for the sake of ten (Righteous People).

This is how any Believer can STAND on the Word of the LORD and ASK Him to Intervene in the lives of a family, a city, a state, even a Nation with the RESULTS of His Divine FAVOR BE Received – HALLELUJAH!!!

Once again, here are the steps of Faith for us to follow:

We make a Godly Appeal in Prayer expecting His Answers to our intercessions:

LORD YOU KNOW ALL THINGS . . . .

We affirm that HE has the Authority, the Power, and the Divine RIGHT TO DO EVERYTHING!

LORD JESUS – ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR YOU . . . .

We remind the LORD about His Word. 

We know His Language and how He talks to us as His Sons and His Daughters –

We SAY what JESUS would SAY!  Luke 11:9-13

We Declare and Decree that:

Yours is the Kingdom and we serve an AWESOME GOD!

Yours is the Power, the same Power that raised Jesus from the dead is in us! 

Greater is He that is in us, more powerful than he that is in this world.

Yours is the Glory, Forever and EVER!

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!  Psalms 150:6
