Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, do you know WHY we lift up our hands in Worship? Because that is exactly WHAT a child does WHEN they want to be held by their Father!  Pick me UP – Daddy!

Our WORSHIP is our expression of our Faith that we would focus on The ONE who has created us; breathed His Breath of Life into our lungs; arranged circumstances & events in our lives for His Divine Purpose; and Redeemed us from the consequences of our sinful nature we were cursed with as a human being.

We ARE Spiritual Beings in an earthly body for only a very short time considering we have ALL of Eternity to spend WORSHIPPING The LORD our GOD-Jehovah!

Here is what the Apostle John wrote about the Throne Room of Heaven in  Revelation 4:8-11

And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes all over and within [underneath their wings]; and day and night they never stop saying,

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY [is the] LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME [the unchanging, Eternal God].

Whenever the living creatures give Glory and Honor and Thanksgiving to Him who sits on the Throne, to Him who LIVES FOREVER and EVER, the twenty-four Elders fall down before Him who sits on the Throne, and they WORSHIP Him who LIVES FOREVER and EVER; and they throw down their crowns before the Throne, saying,

Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the Glory and the Honor and the POWER; for You created ALL THINGS, and because of Your Will [Divine Purpose] they exist and were Created and brought into Being.

Then I looked, and I heard the Voice of many Angels around the Throne and [the Voice] of the living creatures and the Elders; and they numbered myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands (innumerable), saying in a loud Voice,

Worthy and deserving is The Lamb that was sacrificed to receive Power and Riches and Wisdom and Might and Honor and Glory and Blessing.

And I heard every created thing that is in Heaven or on earth or under the earth [in Hades, the realm of the dead] or on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying [together],

To Him who sits on the throne, and to The Lamb (Christ), be Blessing and Honor and Glory and Dominion FOREVER and EVER.

And the four living creatures kept saying, AMEN. And the Elders fell down and worshiped [Him WHO LIVES FOREVER and EVER].
