Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, it is not often that something on FaceBook has anything “profound” displayed on it! However, here is another exception that was recently shared and re-posted and was NOT censored from David Patterson –

I told our church today that if someone ever leaves our church to go to another church, our responsibility is to do the following:

  1. Love them – unconditionally
  2. Champion them – for a season
  3. Thank them for the time we had with them – sincere gratitude wins
  4. Honor them – their decision is NOT personal to you
  5. Be their best cheerleader – inspired by their resolve to change

Then I told them when you run into them at Super Market, Costco, a Restaurant or anywhere else, don’t treat them like a leper or like they walked away from the Faith. Be kind, be considerate, be GLAD for them on their NEXT assignment!

Speak first and say “hello” or “what is new in your world”?

Because in the END, we ARE ALL building the HIS KINGDOM not our CASTLES.

The only type of group that treats people indifferent when they leave their group are known as “cults.”

THE Church is the Body of Christ on this earth! We CAN DO Better! We ought to LOVE BETTER! Because we MUST BE BETTER than the non-believers who are among us. You may never know who is watching your actions and reactions!

AS IT IS WRITTEN IN 1Corinthians 12:3-24  &  Ephesians. 4:1–16 

Unity and Diversity in One Body with Christ Jesus our LORD as the HEAD – We have the Mind of Christ!

Therefore, I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.

And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works ALL in ALL.  But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that ONE BODY, being many, are ONE BODY, so also is Christ.

For by ONE SPIRIT, we were ALL baptized into ONE BODY—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have ALL been made to drink into ONE Spirit.

For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the Body just as He Pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the BODY be?

But now indeed there are many members, yet ONE BODY.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

But God composed the BODY, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,

that there should be no schism in the BODY, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members REJOICE with it.

Now you are the Body of Christ, and members individually.

Our Prayer of Agreement is based on the Word of GOD as written in 2Corinthians 5:17-21

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW Creation; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS have become NEW.

Now ALL THINGS are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the Ministry of Reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the WORD of Reconciliation. Now then, we are Ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, BE Reconciled to God!

For He-God made Him-Jesus who knew no sin TO BE sin for us, that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him-Christ.

Thanks BE to GOD who gives us the VICTORY through our LORD & Savior – Jesus Christ!
