“The Manhattan Declaration” is a non-denominational statement that throws down a gauntlet to a secular culture that is increasingly encroaching upon the rights of Christians. Those who hold to a traditional moral values, especially on the issues of marriage and right-to-life have participated by joining with the signers of this document with the following pledge:
“We pledge to each other, and to our fellow believers”, says the document, ”that no power on earth, be it cultural or political, will intimidate us into silence or acquiescence.”
This document has already been signed by hundreds of thousands.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You would Bless those who have the courage to stand for what is right and proclaim Your Word as the absolute TRUTH about any matter! Amen and Amen!
The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is John 14:1 & 6-7
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me {Jesus}. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me!” John 14:1 & 6-7
Ladies and Gentlemen, every time we make a proclamation of faith, we declare with our mouth, what we believe in our heart:
Christ Jesus our Lord is the Son of Almighty God!
Jesus is the Savior of my soul!
I know nothing else except Jesus Christ and Him crucified for my sins!
His Love surrounds me, everywhere that I go!
Surely His Goodness and His Mercies will follow me, all of the days of my life!
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who lives, but Christ lives within me and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who Loves me and gave Himself for me!
Blessed BE the Name of the Lord!
