The US Bishops Conference reports that not only does the Senate Health Care Reform Bill provide Federal Funding for plans to cover ABORATIONS, but it also creates an unprecedented mandatory “Abortion Surcharge”. This surcharge will require Catholics and other citizens who believe in the defense of innocent lives to pay directly and explicitly for other people’s abortions.

Father God, we pray that this pending BILL will be rejected in the Senate by the same numbers that polls show the people of America have already rejected it.  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for today’s prayer of agreement:

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.  James 3:13-18

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.  Matthew 23:12

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees {Senators and Congressional Representatives}, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices-mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law like justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.  Matthew 23:23

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees {Senators and Congressional Representatives}, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.  Matthew 23:27

Ladies and Gentlemen, Jesus always spoke with the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. Jesus was not a pleaser of men. Jesus did not campaign on popularity nor did he give a “shout-out” to his friends at a funeral. Jesus had respect for the men of the military, because these men understood the “chain-of-command”. Military people understand that obedience is much better than sacrifice, and yet they willingly and freely sacrifice their ALL.

Jesus has Authority, Conviction, and Godly Wisdom in EVERYTHING that He SAYS!  His Words are recorded for us to read in the Bible. We should all read our Bibles daily, we must pray and then obey what the Spirit of the Living Lord Jesus says to our hearts to do for His Kingdom here on earth to be exactly like it is in Heaven!
