We must prayerfully consider the options that we have set before us. They are literally life & death!

We must talk with all of our family members, neighbors, and church family members about the fact that our God has given us a choice to VOTE!  God’s Word is TRUE and His Promises are FOREVER, no matter who is elected to the Congress, or whoever is elected as the Governors of States, or even who is elected as Mayor and city council members. If anyone does not have “a firm reliance on  Divine Providence”; if anyone does not have personal relationship with Christ Jesus as Lord of their lives, then Almighty God has no obligation to continually BLESS our country. We are not waiting on the Lord our God. He is waiting on each one of us to choose and to be like Him!

When we step into that VOTING BOOTH, we enter into His Presence with THANKSGIVING that we live in a country that has the Freedom to VOTE!  We can and should ask the Lord, to help us choose the people that have courage of their convictions, and that have NOT taken any bribes, that understand our founding documents as the BEST form of government, and that display their Faith in God as their source and firm reliance upon daily prayers.

Heavenly Father, we believe that ALL MEN are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.  You Lord our God, have given us those rights and responsibilities!  We like sheep have gone astray and each one of us has turned to his or her own way of thinking and trusting in self-reliance only. Our elected representatives have set themselves up as the only source of our protection, our provision, and our prosperity. Congress has mandated our participation in government controlled economy and government controlled health care system. These things ought NOT to be so!

We pray that we can change the course of these human events by our voting today!  We pray that many of people would join together and proclaim in UNITY and LOVE that the Word of God is TRUE and that YOUR PROMISES are FOREVER!  We as a nation will follow Your Ways and keep Your Commandments and Statues! Then we together as ALL AMERICANS can with confidence to know that God Almighty will HEAL OUR LAND!   Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Deuteronomy 30:14-20

But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His Ways, and to keep His Commandments, His Statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

I call Heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may Love the LORD your God, that you may obey His Voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.
