Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:36-38
So now, brethren, I commend you to our Lord God and to the Word of His Grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. Acts 20:32-36
Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to understand the Power of a Gift!
God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth and ALL that is within this earth, has given each of us His very best GIFT! The miracle of God’s Gift is that it keeps on giving!
The question is, “What do you have in the treasurer of your heart – to give?”
A word of encouragement? A loaf of bread? A cup of water? A hand to hold? An embrace of comfort? A kiss of affection? A demonstration of trust? An hour of time to share your faith?
A prayer from your heart!
Heavenly Father, we are Your Children! We have been adopted by Your Blood! We are co-heirs with Christ Jesus, Your only Son. We have the gifts of Your Holy Spirit in these earthen vessels. We know the abundance of Your unconditional Love that You have given to each of us. Help us to Love one another in exactly the same manner that You Love us. Show us how to BE LIKE JESUS in all that we say and all that we do TODAY!
Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart always BE acceptable in Your Sight, Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer. I purpose in my heart to declare Your Divine Purposes in the earth to my family, my friends, my local church family, my community, my state, and my nation just as You have ordained, commissioned, and empowered in Heaven.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will BE DONE – on earth as it is in Heaven.
