Ladies and Gentlemen, we as Americans have been considered as one of the wealthiest nations on earth. We have had advances in technology, medicine, and true human compassion like no other country in the world. Because of God’s every present Mercy, we have NOT been consumed by the consequences of our national sins.

The swine flu took the lives of 114 children in the United States just last year.  We spent millions of dollars developing the H1N1 vaccine which has kept that death toll number low. During the same time period twenty-five to thirty-five hundred babies are killed by abortion clinics each month. It is difficult to understand why we would put forth so much money and energy to save the hundreds of lives and at the same time make it legal to kill thousands of babies every year.

Heavenly Father, RESTORE a sense of “right” and wrong to the American people we pray! RESET our moral compass to point always towards the one true and living Christ Jesus our Lord.  RENEW our hearts and our minds TO DO the things that Jesus would do, and TO SAY the exactly the words that Jesus would speak to one another. Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is    Mark 10:13-16

Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it {them rebuking children}, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the Kingdom of God.

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it {the Kingdom}." And He took them up in His Arms, laid His Hands on them, and He Blessed them.

People of God, ALL LIFE is God’s Creation! God made every human being and every animal on earth. Why would we EVER think that we know more about what is “right” to do and to say than what God in the flesh – Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior?

The Finger of God wrote in stone the Ten Commandments. These are instructions from our Creator for living life in His Creation. These Commandments represent the Spiritual Laws that require our obedience. They are not suggestions. They are not just good ideas. They are laws. When we disobey laws there are consequences for our actions. Because Almighty God is rich in Mercy, whenever we violate one or more of His Laws, we can repent and stop doing the things that we are not suppose to do. We can ask His Forgiveness!

We have the Promises of His Word and the EVIDENCE of Christ’s Resurrection and the Giver of Gifts the Holy Spirit available to each and every one us right now – TODAY, if we only believe.
