We read in the scriptures that in the last days there would be earthquakes in many places. We know that volcanoes are part of the upheaval in the earth. We have witnessed meteor showers across the night skies. There are wars and rumors of wars for nations will rise up against other nations. All of these things are just the beginning of sorrows. All of these signs are simply an indication that the second coming of our Lord may soon be coming to pass.
Heavenly Father, we know for a fact that “no one knows the hour” when You will return to the earth to establish Your Throne here, just as it is in Heaven. We must all be prepared and be preparing for Your Kingdom Reign in all the earth. Both of us who are believers and those people who are non-believers will witness for themselves that the Word of God is TRUE! It will happen exactly as Jesus says it will happen.
Blessed BE the Name of the Lord our God, most High! Let ALL the Heavenly Host Praise Him!
The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is Matthew 24:3-14
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My Name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are just the beginning of sorrows.
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all of the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end {of this age} will come”.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Let the Church ARISE! We are the ‘Bride of Christ’ and we know that Jesus loves us, with an everlasting LOVE! He gave His Life for us that we might live together for ALL ETERNITY!
We should not think that it is strange that these series of events that we are witnessing today are not expected. Those of us who know The Truth, The Way, and The Light should eagerly and enthusiastically tell everyone what the Lord our God has done for us, the people of Church Universal.
We should at all times and in all places lift up Holy hands, without wrath and anger and without doubting and proclaim with our mouth, exactly what we believe in our heart that:
Jesus Christ IS LORD of ALL and over ALL mankind to the Glory of God our Heavenly Father!
