What are you passionate about today? What is it that wakes you up – eager to start the day and excited about completing before the sun goes down tonight?

To the people of the church at Laodicea, the ones who are full of apathy and complacency we read:

I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My Mouth.

Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--

Heavenly Father, please forgive our arrogance and our foolish pride that ignores our need for You. We need Your Supernatural Divine Intervention in our lives today like never before. We must have steps of faith and action to advance the Kingdom of God here in the earth, just as it is in Heaven.

Father God, reveal the Truth of these words to us today! Let our hearts “burn within us” as You share the Truth about the condition of Your People, that are called by Your Name in our country today. We need Your Spiritual Awakening to inspire us TO DO Your acts of Righteousness, Peace and JOY!

Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is    James 1:19-22

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the Righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.

But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

For if anyone is only a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have this most precious promise from Almighty God! When we love God with all of our heart soul and strength, AND when we love one another in exactly the same manner as Christ loves us, forgiving one another, encouraging one another, giving to one another – Then the Spirit of the Living Resurrected Lord Jesus will abide in us, dwell in each of us, and He will prosper all our labors!  Amen?  Amen!

Obedience is much better than any sacrifice! Jesus was completely obedient, even unto death the Bible says. All that we really have in this life is RELATIONSHIPS! All of our stuff is temporary and for a season. Remember dear ones that whatever you do for yourself, dies with you. However, whatever you do for others will live on! Do your very best for Jesus and His Kingdom TODAY!

Amen and Amen!
