The Apostle Paul wrote to the church members of his day about the contrasts and comparisons between the “ways of the world” and the “ways of the Lord”. He proclaimed the night and day difference between “believers” and “non-believers” as those people who once walked in darkness and now walk in the light. This is a truth that we sometimes forget that spiritually dead people actually chose to walk in darkness.

Heavenly Father, we pray for those “non-believers” who are under the influence of the “ways of the world” and are blinded to Your Truth.  Open the eyes of our hearts. Renew the thoughts of our minds. Let us ALL – believers and non-believers SEE this world in exactly the same way that Christ Jesus our Lord sees our lives. Show us Your Ways Lord, and reveal to us - Your TRUTH to set us free from the bondage of sin. This we ask of the Father, believing in the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit, ONE GOD, now and forever more – Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is     Ephesians 2:1-8

And you He {Jesus} made alive, who while you were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of disobedience, just as the others.

But God, who is rich in Mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loves all of  us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.

For by His Grace you have been saved through Faith in Christ Jesus, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God Almighty!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have this confident HOPE and TRUST that He who began a good work within us, He is able to complete that work for the advancement of the Kingdom of God here on earth, just as it is in Heaven. We want nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else but Almighty God’s Divine Purpose to be DONE in and through our lives TODAY!

Thanks BE to God who always causes us to triumph in His Name!

Amen and Amen!
