The forces of evil continue in their efforts to bring an end to the powerful influence of the Word of God. Revisionists ignore the Christian Faith upon which our government was founded. Thank God they will never succeed!

Heaven and earth may pass away, but God’s Word will never pass away.

Thank You our Heavenly Father for Divinely inspired Holy Word – the Bible. Wicked men have tried to destroy it, atheists have refused to believe what it says, and evil kings have tried to stamp it out . . . . all have failed. Your Word is still the best selling book and most read book in the world.  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Deuterononmy 8:1-3

Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord God swore to your fathers. And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD GOD.

Ladies and Gentlemen, when Christ died on the cross, the veil in the temple was torn in half allowing everyone to have access to the Holiest of Holy - Presence of God Almighty. When Christ Jesus our Lord overcame death and walked among us for forty days after the crucifixion, He ascended up to Heaven where He is now seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of Grace and He is ever living to make intercessions for us.

How do we know these things?  They are written in the Bible!

The most important words that Jesus spoke to His Disciples and to all of us are written in the Bible.

Matthew 24:35    Mark 13:31    Luke 21:33

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away.

So when we pray – “Give us this day our daily bread” we should also add  “Feed us on Your Word today and let the Word of God dwell richly inside of me and every part of my being be nourished by Your Word”!

Amen and Amen!
