Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the most wonderful time of the Year!
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.
But while he-Joseph thought about these things, behold, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,
Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His Name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:
Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His Name “Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us”

We know that ALL of history is His-Story! His death on the cross, His burial in a borrowed tomb and His Resurrection from the grave is the rock- solid foundation of our Faith. However, the single most incredible event in all of history is the virgin birth of Jesus. Most of the Old Testament is fore-telling about God’s Plan of Salvation and about His Son coming into His Creation. Imagine The Creator of the Universe becoming one of us!
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that we would be rooted and grounded in His Love for us. We would be able to comprehend with all of the saints what is the width and length and depth and height of God’s Love to send His only begotten Son into the world – not to condemn the world, but that this world through Him will receive Salvation.
Blessed BE the Name of the LORD most HIGH!
