Ladies and Gentlemen, what the things that we can agree on TODAY?
The only letter of recommendation we need is you - yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.
Clearly, you are a “letter” from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts. We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God! He has enabled us to be ministers of His New Covenant. This is a Covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the New Covenant, the Spirit gives LIFE!
Dear ones, we have been encouraging our ‘witness’ together these past few days. As we go about our daily tasks, we represent the very best in this human enterprise on planet earth. We are the most abundantly BLESSED nation beyond any measure as Believers in Christ! We have prevailed after two world wars; after the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts; completed the mission in Desert Storm and then helped to build up the economies of Japan and Germany and even China.
The largest church in Christianity is in South Korea. America has sent more missionaries all over this world, more than any other country because we reflect the ‘letter’ of lives in Christ!
The point is this – We are most like Christ when we GIVE!
The secret Santa that goes into Walmart stores and pays off everyone’s lay-a-ways with cash!
Samaritan’s Purse project ShoeBox that provides millions of children personal gifts!
We can and should spend our time attending all of the church services of Christmas Pageants – Living Nativity Scenes – Handel’s Messiah concerts – and witnessing the JOY that is Christmas!
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in 2Corinthians 3:17
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM!
