Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the Word of the LORD for today!

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the Heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a Voice came from heaven, saying,

This is My Beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased!

Matthew 3:16-17

.

And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus!

And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a Voice came out of the cloud, saying,

This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.

Mark 9:4-8

Dear ones, sometimes it seems that even a booming Voice from Heaven is needed to convince us of just how much our Heavenly Father loves JESUS!

In Genesis 22  we read the account of Abraham taking his son of Promise to a place and building an altar to worship, Abraham prepared to make a sacrificial offering of his son that he loved.

And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son, but the Angel of the LORD called to him from Heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham!

So he said, Here I am. And He (Angel voice from Heaven) said,

Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me!

God does NOT require us to ‘sacrifice’ anything to Him nor for Him!

When we realize just how much that God-Jehovah, our Heavenly Father LOVES The Son – Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, we begin to understand that God actually sacrifice His Son for me!  Christ paid the total price for all my sins, so that I could have a real relationship with Him. When God looks at me, His Eyes see what Jesus has already done, that I could never do for Him.

JESUS PAID it ALL!  Audio LINK = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_jAbHkGJRE&start_radio=1&list=RDj_jAbHkGJRE&t=7

Amen and Amen!
