Ladies and Gentlemen, what is on the Mind of Christ right now? We are His People!

In the opening of the musical – Godspell – the character of John the Baptizer, after the blowing of a Ram’s Horn, sings the chorus – Prepare Ye the Way of the LORD!

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light (The Messiah), but was sent to bear witness of that Light (The Son of God-Jehovah).

That Jesus was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His Name; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God!

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth

John 1:6-14

Dear ones, as we gather together to celebrate a feast of giving THANKS, let us remember that John the Baptizer was a cousin of Jesus. John had a Divine calling on his life. John would tell everyone that he encountered – The Messiah has come and He is Immanuel – Christ among us!

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that Jesus says we would DO even greater works that He did when He walked among us on earth. John 14:12

Let us consider each conversation we have with our aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins; brothers and sisters; parents and grandparents; and all of our in-laws and some of our outlaws this Thanksgiving Day as our Divine Appointments. Remember to share the Love of Jesus has for them and not boast in my Love of God.

Let your light so shine before men and women, that they may see your good works, your acts of kindness, your compassion, and give all the Praise and all the Glory to Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!

Amen and Amen!
