Ladies and Gentlemen, our hearts are grieving once again for the shedding of innocent lives taken by an act of violence in a small town in Texas. A pastor’s fourteen year old daughter was killed in the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs Texas.
Yet once again the anger and the outrage seems to be focused on an inanimate object like the “gun” that was used to inflict this death and destruction. When will people wake up and realize that this is a HEART matter and NOT a gun control issue?
These six things the LORD hates, YES seven are an abomination to HIM:
A proud look (haughty self-righteous)
A lying tongue (knowingly false witness)
Hands that shed innocent blood (mentally sick people who kill defenseless children)
A heart that devises wicked plans (national ‘news’ media and/or congress)
Feet that are swift in running to do evil (rioters that destroy property in protest)
A false witness who speaks lies (a perverse mouth that knows no truth)
And anyone who sows discord among brethren (the government must take control)
Dear ones, our enemy, the devil is making an open mockery of our reactions to this senseless tragedy in central Texas. Events like Sandy Hook Elementary, Columbine High School, Westbourgh Baptist Church, Aurora Movie Theater, Las Vegas massacres and now Sutherland Springs are all evidence of this EVIL that is in hearts and minds of mentally sick people and deranged people that do not know JESUS.
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that You would search me Oh God, and know my heart, test me, and know all my anxieties, and see if there is any wicked way within me, and lead me in The Way everlasting. Psalm 139:24
ONLY YOU LORD can HEAL OUR LAND!
