Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to PRAY earnestly for our 1st Responders!
You have dealt well with Your servant, Oh LORD, according to Your Word.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe Your commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your Word.
You are GOOD, and You do GOOD; Teach me Your statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.

Dear ones, there are thousands of men and women that come to our rescue on a daily basis. They are the ones that disregard their own personal safety and go into burning buildings, burning homes, and burning cars & trucks to pull out people who are trapped. They are the ones that go to the islands after hurricanes and tsunamis and retrieve the dead bodies of people and animals. They are the ones diligently search through the rubble for people in the hope to find them alive. These 1st Responders are most like JESUS in their actions and attitudes. We understand that God-Jehovah is GOOD and the devil as our enemy is bad. We have a great Big GOD and little bitty devil whose only purpose is to destroy our relationship with Jesus as Lord over all our lives. Jesus says in John 10:10:
The thief does not come except to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DESTROY. I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have LIFE more abundantly. I AM the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His Life tor the sheep (His People)!
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that You are full of Mercies and slow to anger. When all of our earthly possessions have been washed away from us, who do we turn too? Where do we go for help and assistance?
I go to the Rock of my Salvation!
God-Jehovah has made me GOOD, not because I do GOOD. Our relationship is not performance based. We receive Your GRACE by Faith in what Jesus has already done for us at the cross. He died and rose again from the grave to pay the price for our Redemption. There is no other Name by which men and women are saved!
I AM the Righteousness of GOD IN CHRIST!
Dear LORD, just as You pray for us and intercede on our behalf, we PRAY for the people that are First Responders to these violent acts of our enemies. We do NOT blame You for the storms’ devastations, nor do we blame You for the mass shootings.
We DO respond to the victims of these tragedies with extreme compassion and a servant’s heart to help Restore Your Goodness, Your Kindness, and Your Love to the hurting people of Your World. As we have done before, we will NOT overcome evil with evil, but we will overcome evil with Your Goodness, Your Mercies and the Truth of Your Word.
Make it so Dear LORD, make it so!
