Ladies and Gentlemen, we are all wondering about future events!
Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him. But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said,
Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation!
These Pharisees are like the modern day “news media” commentators in many ways:
If you are the Son of God – PROVE IT!
We as Christians must respond in confidence of our first-person authority with:
I believe that Jesus Christ is LORD of ALL, and your rejection of Him will have serious consequences. Jesus is the Word of God Incarnate – Immanuel!
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we know that You are The Spirit of Truth in all matters. We witness the “news media” bombarding us with lies, falsehoods, and deceptions that assault our senses. Help us not to harden our hearts, but STAND against these false presumptions with Your Righteousness, Your Peace, and Your JOY unspeakable – full of Your Grace!
Amen and Amen!
