Ladies and Gentlemen, have you considered the Gospel of GRACE?

One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question:

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

Jesus replied,

You must Love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Deuteronomy 6:5.

This is the first and greatest commandment.

A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.  Leviticus 19:18

The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.

.

Dear ones, please notice some very important phrases in what Jesus says!

Greatest commandment is to LOVE GOD and LOVE one another!  Nothing is mentioned about any “performance of works” on our part. Nothing is said about keeping a set of rules and regulations in order to have Fellowship and a Right Relationship with Jesus.

Also re-read the phrase “The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on . . . ”. Good intentions of men throughout history have NOT preached the Gospel of His Grace!  Since Christ died to pay the price for ALL sins, we are no longer subject to “the Law”, but we are FREE to live our lives in His Grace!

For the law was given through Moses, but Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ!  Written in John 1:17

Jesus, The Christ, The Son of the Living God-Jehovah is 100% Grace and 100% Truth!

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in Ephesians 2:4-10

But God, who is rich in Mercy, because of His great LOVE with which He loved us,

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by His Grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God, not of any of my works, lest anyone should boast.

For we are His Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for Good Works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

.

Amen and Amen and Amen!
