Today's Pause for Prayer 06-19-2020

Many decades ago, we started the practice of early morning prayer. We would rise before dawn and go to the Place of Prayer and have Communion with the LORD. We followed the pattern of Prayer that Jesus gave us.  Matthew 6:5-15

 

During this “pandemic” we have seen many of our friends and relatives pass from this LIFE into their Heavenly Reward in Christ. While we may have been denied the events of Honoring their memories, we do have the Confident Assurance of this song taking place in Heaven’s Reality.

Imagine our loved ones walking hand in hand with Jesus!

I dreamed I went to Heaven and You were there with me

We walked upon the streets of gold, beside the crystal sea

We heard these angels singing, then someone called your name

We turned and saw this young man, he was smiling as he came

And he said, friend you may not know me now, then he said

But wait, you use to teach my Sunday School, when I was only eight!

Every week you would say a prayer, before the class would start

One day when you said that prayer, I asked JESUS in my heart!

And then another man stood before you, he said remember the time

A missionary came to your church his pictures made you cry

You didn’t have much money, but you gave it anyway

JESUS took the gift you gave and that’s why I’m in Heaven today!

One by one they came as far as your eyes could see

Each life somehow touched by your generosity

Little things that you had done, sacrifices you had made

They were unnoticed on this earth, in Heaven now proclaimed

I know up in Heaven, you’re not supposed to cry

But I am almost sure that there were tears in your eyes

As JESUS took your hand and you stood before The LORD

He said My Child – Look around you for great is your reward!

Thank you for giving to the LORD, I AM a LIFE that was changed
