Ladies and Gentlemen, have we heard the Voice of the Father calling us to FOLLOW HIM?

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

Then He said to them,

Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.

Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them. As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,

Follow Me.

So he-Matthew arose and followed Him-Jesus.

Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.

Dear ones, these are examples of the POWER of two Words spoken by our LORD that people would give up everything in their way of life to become Disciples of Jesus!

Peter & James walked away from their trade, their fishing business.

Matthew was an IRS agent and he convinced his co-workers to come meet JESUS!

This was NOT some sort of Jedi mind trick and yet the Creator of this Universe compels us to come into a real relationship with Him. We know that to BE in His PRESENCE is the most wonder-filled experience of our lives.

Holy Spirit of TRUTH, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus prayed this prayer:

Oh Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, thank You for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike (trusting by Faith).  Yes, Father, it pleased You to do it this Way!

My Father has entrusted everything to Me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

Then Jesus said, Come to Me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I AM humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For My Yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is Light.

 

This is TRUTH! It is the very written Truth of the Living Word of GOD-Jehovah!

 

Are we focused on building His Kingdom here on earth, or are we building our own kingdom?

Are we sharing His Love, His Compassion, His Truth, with anyone & everyone we encounter as Divine Appointments?

Are we focused on the temporal things or the Eternal things?

Are we preparing ourselves for this “end-time Harvest” of souls?  People want to know why we are so confident!  What is this HOPE that Christians have about the future?
