Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to have a CLEAR understanding of His Power & His Authority!

Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. A certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant.

And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He-Jesus should do this was deserving, for he-Centurion loves our Nation, and has built us a synagogue.

Then Jesus went with them. And when He-Jesus was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him,

Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You.

But say the Word, and my servant will be healed.

For I also am a man placed under Authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him-Roman Centurion, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him,

I say to you, I have not found such great Faith, not even in Israel!

And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant alive and well who had been sick!

Dear ones, we need to position ourselves under The Authority of Christ JESUS our LORD!  We can and should remind one another that:

LORD – Your Word proclaims . . . .

LORD – We PRAY in agreement with Your Word . . . .

Did you notice in this encounter that ‘the elders of the Jews’ pleaded with Jesus to do what this Roman Centurion’s request because they hoped to gain favor & influence with him? However, the scene was completely flip by the humble attitude of this soldier!

LORD, I am not worthy that You should come into my house. I believe that You can SAY the WORD and my servant will be healed!

What if ‘people pleasing’ was over and God Pleasing was now our motivation?

Imagine that throughout our whole life that whatever we DO in Word or DEED, we did it to bring Him Glory & Honor – WE worked as unto the LORD!   Colossians 1:8-12

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to PRAY for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His Will in all Wisdom and Spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the Knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His Glorious Power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; Giving THANKS unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saints in Light:

WE PROCLAIM YOUR WORD LORD and our Nation WILL BE HEALED!

Thanks BE to GOD who gives us the Victory, through our LORD & Savior – Jesus Christ!
