Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to CELEBRATE the most important event in ALL of human History – The Resurrection of Christ Jesus our LORD and Savior!
The Jewish People DID NOT kill Jesus! The Romans DID NOT kill Jesus! Even I did NOT kill Jesus as some may have told us. Scripture is very clear about this:
I AM the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and I AM known by My own.
As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My Life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My Voice; and there will be one Flock and one Shepherd.
Therefore, My Father Loves Me, because I lay down My Life that I may take it again.
No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have Power to lay it down, and I have Power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.

Dear ones, tomorrow is a GOOD Friday! While the scourging and the crown of thorns and the nails driven into His Hands and His Feet were horrific, Jesus – Immanuel – The Christ – Messiah – The Son of the Living God-Jehovah was and is totally obedient to our Father in Heaven. Hebrews 12:1-2
As Jesus stretched out His Arms, He was saying “I LOVE YOU this much” and I will take on the ultimate payment to redeem each of you My People (sheep) who believe in Me, from the curses on us, because of sin in our lives.
Three events happened over these days of His-story:
- Atonement for all our sins – IT IS FINISHED!!! John 19:28-30
JESUS was the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. As a man, he took on our “unrighteousness” (sin nature) and exchanged His Life so that we now become The Righteousness of GOD IN CHRIST!
- My Father in Heaven becomes OUR Father in Heaven John 20:17 Before the cross, Jesus spoke of My Father, however after His death burial and Resurrection, Jesus told Mary in front of His empty tomb - I AM ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God!
- Death, where is your sting, Grave where is your Victory? 1Corinthians 15:55-57
Thanks be to God, who gives us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
