Ladies and Gentlemen, do you have a Place and Time for Prayer?

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him!

Matthew 6:5-8

These instructions on Prayer from our Lord show the humility and concentrated efforts we should represent in our time with Him. We need to remove ALL distractions and set apart TIME for sweet communion with Jesus each and every day.

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, empower us to ‘tithe our time’ and spend two and a half hours of our time in quality Prayer Time. The Episcopal “Book of Common Prayer” has guidelines for both Morning and Evening PRAYERS.

In the mornings we can say – Okay LORD, what are Your Plans for us to get done TODAY?

In the evenings we can say – Thank You LORD, for all the things that we got done for Your Kingdom this day.

Make is so Dear LORD, make it so!
