Today's Pause for Prayer 04-13-2021

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have warned BEFORE about what is happening to us NOW!

 

The LORD gave another message to Jeremiah. He said,

Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.

So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel.

But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.

Then the LORD gave me this message:

Oh Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My Hand.

If I announce that a certain Nation or Kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down, and destroyed, but then that nation renounces its evil ways, I will NOT destroy it as I had planned.

And if I announce that I will plant and build up a certain Nation or Kingdom, but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless it as I said I would.

Therefore, Jeremiah, go and warn all Judah and Jerusalem. Say to them,

‘This is what the LORD says: I AM planning disaster for you instead of good. So turn from your evil ways, each of you, and do what is RIGHT.’

But the people replied, Don’t waste your breath. We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires.

Dear ones, GOD is so personable with us whenever we ALLOW Him to shape us by His Hands.

We so often struggle with our GOOD IDEAS and try and make GOD do what we want Him to DO in our lives.  We must instead us our FAITH to TRUST Him with ALL of heart, ALL of soul, and ALL of our Strength that HE is ABLE TO DO exceedingly abundantly ABOVE ALL we can Hope, Think or IMAGINE!

 

Holy Spirit of TRUTH, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in  Matthew 13:13-17

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;

For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’

But Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

LORD, open the eyes of my heart! I want to SEE exactly what You SEE and SAY the same Words that You would SAY!

Make it SO Dear LORD, make it so!
