Ladies and Gentlemen, how do we process our ANGER?

Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” Zechariah 8:16  for we are members of one another.

“Be angry, and do not sin,” Psalm 4:4  do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart Grace to the hearers. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of Redemption.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ Forgave you.

Ephesians 4:25-32

Dear ones, there are an abundance of ANGRY people on television these days. People shouting at one another and hurling “false” accusations towards one another.  People demanding what they think is ‘right’ from their own perspective.

Anger is toxic to our well-being! We get caught in this cycle of being offended – declare our anger – become enraged – react with Fight or Flight scenarios. We are advised to count to ten before opening our mouths to respond any ‘angry words’. Some of us will remember the Ten Commandments – do not kill (the person in front of me)do not bear false witness (against this idiot)do not covet anythingdo not take the Name of the LORD in vain and then think about what would Jesus DO in this situation.

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word:

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is GOOD for necessary edification, that it may impart His Grace to the hearers.

Be angry, and do not sin, Psalm 4:4

Let each one of you speak God’s Truth with their neighbors, Zechariah 8:16  for we are members of one another. We are the Body of Christ!

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ has already FORGIVEN you.

FORGIVENESS is the Key to unlock the Power of God’s LOVE!

Amen and Amen!
