Ladies and Gentlemen, here we are at the start of a new year of our Lord 2018 AD!
There was once a TV game show called – Who do you Trust?
The written Word of God tell us this:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not lean or rely on your own understandings. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.
There was a time decades ago that a young preacher name Larry Lea said somethings that I never forgot.
When I wake up in the morning, I spend the first moments of my day in a quiet time with the LORD. We talk about His Plans for our day together.
“Okay LORD, what are we going to do TODAY”?
Then at night as I lay down to sleep I ask the LORD:
“Did we get done the things that You wanted done this day?
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that we would be led by the Spirit and walk in the Light as He is in the Light. 1John 1:7 We have been created in Your Image with Your Character and Your Nature flowing through our veins.
As we approach our Divine Appointments this day, we can whisper these phrases:
LORD, what would You have me say to this person?
Holy Spirit, show me Your Word on this matter, help me recall the verse.
LORD, help me with this situation . . . . .
LORD, my life and my times are in Your Hands!
Amen and Amen!
