Our Treasure Chest
Jesus says, Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21
Our physical heart is in the middle of the chest region of our body. This central core of our being provides life giving blood on a moment by moment basis. Our heart is vital to our very existence.
The things that we value with our heart are the focus of our attention. The people that matter most to our heart are the same ones that we willing give our affections, give our very best behavior, and give our precious time to, the most often. It is very natural for us to “love with all of our heart” as we are commanded to do. Deuteronomy 6:5
It is the same way with the Heart of God!
We give our time, our talent and our treasure to God, through His local Church and His Church Universal, not because He needs our monies. We love Him, because He first loved us!
God Almighty has already given us His Very Best as our Redeemer, Savior, and absolute Love of His Life – His only Son, Christ Jesus our Lord! So we naturally want to share a reciprocating action of this kind of love from our heart by Giving Thanks to Him, joyfully!
The Rockland Foundation has a project and a purpose to accomplish for the Kingdom of God, here on earth. We do NOT want any of your tithes to be re-directed from your local church. The tithes are “Holy unto the Lord” and that is your covenant commitment between you and the Lord our God.
We ask that you may consider the possibilities of sowing some of your seeds into the good soil of central Texas. We want to build, operate, and sustain a Teaching / Training Conference Complex that will also house residences of an “Assisted Living Facility” in Milford, Texas. We expect that retired and soon-to-be-retired pastors, ministers, missionaries, educators, and Christian men and women would want to live in a campus setting where they can continue to minister to people around the world. We want to create a repository for spiritual wisdom and revelation knowledge that has been gain through the life experiences of those elder pastors among us. We want to provide opportunities for the next generation of evangelist, pastors, teachers, and apostles to learn spiritual truths from those front line warriors for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We want to build a “House of Prayer” that will be opened for 24 hours a day – 7 days a week for people to call in, write in, or video conference with “live” people that will agree with you in prayer, without requiring you to buy anything from us. Jesus never charged anyone for His ministry work!
We believe that the Holy Spirit of the Living Resurrected Lord Jesus, will move on the hearts and minds of people everywhere to contribute their time, their talents, and their treasure to this non-profit organization where all of the donations will go to support this project and the vision that we share.
