To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose, under Heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Ladies and Gentlemen, WHAT is GOD DOING in your life today?
Some of you may remember as a child that there were rules, boundaries, and limitations that were established to keep you from hurting yourself.
No running with scissors ! Wait 30 minutes after you eat to go swimming !
No jumping on the furniture ! Don’t play with matches-lighters-stove top knobs !
Stop making that face, you might freeze like that!
Before any licensed doctor, can give any treatment to any person, they must first pass a board of examination and pledge a solemn oath – First, DO NO HARM!
This covenant agreement between a doctor of medicine and their patient is built on rules, boundaries, and limitations. We instinctively TRUST the advice of a doctor because we believe that they have studied the human body, how it functions and how it works together. Doctors should know from experience how to relieve us from our aches and pains, cure our sickness, and show us how to maintain our health.
A covenant agreement does exist between Almighty God and you! His rules, boundaries, and limitations are to keep us from hurting ourselves. He created our bodies! He knows our pains and sufferings, because He is one of us, Jesus walked among us, and Jesus taught us how to live!
God knows our names! By the power of His Holy Spirit, we can have a personal relationship with Him when we TRUST and believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins!
We know that our daily relationship with God is sustained through prayer!
So we pray: Heavenly Father – Awesome Lord God! We are Your People! We are called by Your Name! We seek Your Very Presence in our lives today! We humble ourselves before You and confess that we have left undone those things that You have instructed us TO DO and we have selfishly done those things that You told us NOT TO DO.
Have mercy upon us, most merciful Lord!
Pardon and Deliver us from the consequences of all our sins!
Examine our hearts Lord, and see if there is any wickedness within me!
Lord Jesus, we promise first to DO NO HARM, to our family members, our extended family members, our local church members, our friends, our co-workers, our public servants, our military members and their family members, and the members of Congress, the President and his cabinet members.
We promise that we will NOT bear false witness about any of them; NOT to steal from them; NOT to covet anything that they may have in their possession; NOT to kill with angry words and verbal assaults against their character and ethnic heritage.
Most importantly, we will only worship You Lord God!
No one else has first priority in my life! I will seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, His right way of living, His Divine Appointments, and share His Love with everyone that will listen to the gratitude in my voice!
Almighty God, hear our prayer, HEAL OUR LAND!
Amen and Amen!
