Almighty God chose to announce the physical birth of His Son Jesus, to a group of humble Bedouin shepherds who were keeping watch over their flocks. “BEHOLD!” said the angel {Gabriel}, “I bring you good tidings of Great JOY! Which shall be to ALL PEOPLE!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord!”   Luke 2:10-11

Heavenly Father, our prayer on this Christmas Eve is that You will send forth You Angels to the bring the message to the world, that they brought to those shepherds that night so many years ago. These Good tidings of Great JOY will be BELIEVED and RECEIVED, so that PEACE will come to this war torn world.  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is   1John 5:4-5

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the Victory that has overcome the world--our faith.  Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Jesus says,  If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is Glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; Abide in My Love.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My Love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His Love. These things I have spoken to you, that My JOY may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.     John 15:7-12

Ladies and Gentlemen, let the Birth of Christ BE IN YOUR HEART this Christmas!

Know Him as your personal Messiah. Understand Jesus as Sovereign Lord of your life.  Surrender ALL your burdens to Him. Open your mouth and just start giving thanks for ALL that Jesus has already done for you personally because He took on our flesh, became one of us, and shows us His Truth, His Way and His Glorious Light!

Sing unto the Lord with all your heart, all of your soul, and with all the multitudes of heavenly hosts:

Hark!  the herald angels sing,
  "Glory to the new-born King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild;
  God and sinners reconciled."
Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
  Join the triumph of the skies;
With angelic hosts proclaim,
  "Christ is born in Bethlehem."
