We know that “wise men” followed a star that led them by way of Jerusalem to Bethlehem, where Jewish Prophets indicated a “King” would be born. Though these religious leaders had access to the written laws of science at their time and the writings of the Prophets, they knew where “The Messiah” would be born. They were just not aware when this event actually happened.
Many of us are in this same condition today. We may know a lot about what the scriptures say about Jesus, but we may not know about the One whose birthday we celebrate.
Father God, open the eyes of our heart, that we may SEE and BELIEVE what is written in Your Holy Word concerning Christ Jesus our Lord.
“God in flesh now appearing, Oh come let us Adore Him, Oh come let us Adore Him!”

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."
