My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.  Oh LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, Oh God of Jacob!  Oh God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.   Psalm 84:2-10

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have the most unique privilege in all the earth. We can attended church services every week!   We, by our own choice can participate in an atmosphere of worship and giving that ushers in the very Presence of Almighty God!

For a long, long time in America, we have observed Saturday as a Sabbath Day of Rest. We have dedicated Sunday as Resurrection Sunday.  Since Sunday is the first day of the week, and Christ our Lord is the first fruits from the power of death and the grave, we CELEBRATE together every week a reminder of Easter Sunday.

We read in the second chapter of Acts, that when the early church were gathered together in ONE place, they were in ONE accord. These people like us were of ONE mindset.  These people were praying together. These early Christians were following the pattern of king Solomon’s time of temple worship. We can read this description in 2 Chronicles chapter 7:

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make into the house of the LORD and in his own house. If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will Hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My Eyes will be open and My Ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My Name may be there forever; and My Eyes and My Heart will be there perpetually.    2Chronicles 7:11-16

Heavenly Father, we bring the sacrifice of Praise into the House of the Lord. We lift up our hearts! We call upon the Name of the Living Lord and we say – BLESS THE LORD Oh my soul!

Let all that is within me BLESS HIS HOLY NAME FOREVER!

Almighty God, You have done great and marvelous things for me and my family! You have pulled me out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock! You have given me Your Love, unconditionally!  You have breathed the very breath of life into my being. You have given me soundness of mind and soundness of body. You know my name and have written my name in the Lamb’s book of Life!

I was GLAD, when they said, Let us go into the House of the Lord!

As for me and my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!

Enter into His gates with THANKSGIVINGS and into His courts with PRAISE!

My House, shall BE a House of Prayer!

Bless the Lord, Oh my soul! Let all that is within me – BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!

Bless the Lord, Oh my soul! And forget not ALL OF HIS BENEFITS!

Amen and Amen!
