"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be Glorified."      Isaiah 61:1-3

 Ladies and Gentlemen, what a great exchange – my life for His Life!

Jesus gives us Hope, where there was only despair. Jesus gives us healing for our broken hearts. Jesus gives us a voice to proclaim His Truth, His Liberty, and His Right Way of living our lives. Jesus gives us glad tidings of Comfort and JOY!  {Now that Christmas carol may be stuck in your mind all day}.

There is a recent song by David and Nicole Binion that is based on this scripture:

You gave me Beauty for ashes; You turned my sorrow to Joy;

You turned my mourning to dancing;  So I’ll let my heart dance with You

Sing over me, I’ll lift my hands, let my heart dance with You,

You take the lead; I’ll lift my hands, and my heart will dance with You

Lord, I’m overwhelmed by You!  I’m overwhelmed by You!

With tears in my eyes, I’ll let my heart dance with You Jesus!

Worship is His Reaction to our response of thanksgiving and praise for ALL that the Lord has done!  As we sing to the Lord our hearts overflow with unspeakable JOY. Whenever we get lost in a song, or immersed in prayer, we lose all concept of time. This is the place of Worship – just me and Jesus.

Whenever we wrap ourselves up in the garment of Praise the spirits of heaviness, distractions, discouragement, and distrust are suddenly GONE!  So, we should make a list. Write down all the people, events, conditions, and situations that you are thank full about. This is the season of Thanksgiving. We should share our lists with our family members. We should encourage one another.

Lord Jesus, I am overwhelmed by Your Goodness, and Your Mercies! Holy Spirit of the Living Lord, Your Gifts just keep on giving!  Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me enough to have a relationship with me and a Divine Purpose for my life here on earth, just as it is in Heaven.

Amen and Amen!
