GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS!

Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. Act 10:31

Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. Luke 1:13

Ladies and Gentlemen, we do not always witness the spiritual war that is going on in the heavens. In times of conflicts we may be like Daniel. We have heard the Voice of God speak to our soul and we tremble at His visitation and we are overwhelmed by the answer to our prayers.

And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon all of them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone when I saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me; for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, and I retained no strength. Yet I heard the sound of His words; and while I heard the sound of His words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground. Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. And He said to me, "O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you." While He was speaking this Word to me, I stood trembling. Then He said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words {prayers} were heard; and I have come because of your words {prayers}. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.  Daniel 10:7-13

We must believe that GOD IS, and the He is Faithful to all of those that seek First and Foremost the Kingdom of God and His Right Way of doing things. As we stand before the Lord God Almighty, we lift our hands as a sign of surrendering my way of doing things. We open our mouth and proclaim God’s Words AS WE PRAY for His Divine Intervention into our daily lives. We pray moment by moment for His Mercies, His Abundant Grace, His Wisdom and His Revelation Knowledge for us TO DO what His has created each of us to do, here on earth, just as it is in Heaven.

We have observed over the years that women and children have enough faith to immediately PRAY because they understand the mother / child relationship to be the very source of life – Jesus, the Christ the Son of the Living God. Women and children are both witnesses and participants to minute by minute miracles that this life offers as they grow and nurture one another. We have observed that generally speaking, men will only pray in times of desperation, crisis, and conflicts. Men seem to think that they want to be “self sufficient” and filled with pride about their accomplishments; instead of serving others and seeking to help one another. Some men seem to run after wealth on earth instead of treasurers in Heaven. What is really sad is that some men do not believe that God will answer their prayers. They have been deceived into thinking that God will only answer Billy Graham’s prayers.

Heavenly Father, we pray today that men everywhere would put First things First in the priorities of their lives. We pray that men would seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and the Things of God and discover in Your Word what is important about a relationship with Jesus as Lord of our lives. We agree that:

Prayer must be our FIRST Response and not our last resort on any subject matter!

We pray that men everywhere would intercede on behalf of their spouse and their children and all their family members – brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, in-laws, cousins and especially those people who are in a position of authority in their sphere of influence.  We pray that men would accept the mantle of spiritual authority over their entire household. We pray that men would participate in the activities of their local church under their pastor’s leadership. Ask the church elders where the needs are to function as a church family {Coaching a team, Remodeling classrooms and buildings, Stocking Food Banks, Meals on Wheels, Teaching children a man’s point of view, High School mentoring students about your profession}. Remember – ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE!

As for me and my house – WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!

Amen and Amen!
