Yesterday, the people of America have spoken! Millions of votes were cast. The RESULTS of these elections will please some and at the same time offend others.  However, we must NOT REBEL against those people who have been duly elected. Our response has been and should always be to PRAY for those people that have a position of authority over us. Matthew 5:44

Father God, YOU ARE the ONE that has the power and the final Word. You alone have the Supreme Authority and the Power to exercise Your Divine Providence in the affairs of men and women.  We are safe in the care of Your Hands. We believe that You have NOT GIVEN UP on this country and will not forsake its people that have established Christ Jesus as Lord of their lives.  We pray that Your Grace and Your Mercies will continue to rest upon us.  We also pray for that Your Peace will abide in Jerusalem!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Ecclesiastes 5:1-15

Walk prudently when you go to the House of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in Heaven, and you on earth; Therefore let your words be few.

For a dream comes through much activity, and a fool's voice is known by his many words. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed—   It is better not to vow than to vow and not pay.

Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messengers of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands?

1Timothy 2:1-8

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying— a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

Blessed BE the Name of the Lord!

Amen and Amen!
