If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the Word of Truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of His creatures. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the Righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls. But BE DOERS of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:1-22
Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to understand the Power of a Gift!
God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth and ALL that is within this earth, has given each of us His very best GIFT! The miracle of God’s Gift is that it keeps on giving!
In Old Testament times, priests would bring gifts, sacrifices and offerings whenever they would come into the Presence of the Living God. They wanted to hear and to act on the “Word of God”.
When the “Word of God” became flesh and dwelt among us, He gave all of us, not just the priests, scribes, Pharisees and His Disciples - The Greatest Words Ever Spoken (LINK to Book)
Jesus, tells us to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES of all nations!
Jesus tells us to OBSERVE ALL THINGS that He has commanded us to do!
Jesus promises us that He will never leave us, never forsake us, and will not abandoned us at any point in time.
Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior has already DONE HIS PART! Now He is waiting on us TO DO our part in obedience to His Words.
Heavenly Father, we need Your Wisdom and Your Revelation Knowledge about how we are to share Your Love with everyone that we encounter today! Let us SAY what Jesus would say to the members of our family, co-workers, and strangers that we meet. Help us all TO DO what Your Living Word describes that will advance the Kingdom of God here on earth, just as it is in Heaven. Help us all to be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath or anger against anyone. Show us how to resist every temptation, and change our minds with right attitudes about who we are and what we are to do!
This we ask of the Father, believing in the Son, by the Power of the Holy Spirit – ONE GOD, now and forever more!
