Ladies and Gentlemen, there is something happening all around us that is cause for prayerful consideration. We are being exposed to a constant bombardment of LIES. We find ourselves questioning every detail of every news report – is that possibly true?  We have serious doubts about what we mistakenly call “political advertising” that has not one ounce of truth anywhere in their rhetoric and on screen displays. These are the times with the love of many will grow cold. Our only reliable source is to compare what we hear and see with the Word of God!

Heavenly Father, we need Your Truth, Your whole Truth, and nothing but Your Truth to lead, guide and direct our daily lives.  We want nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else but the Words of the Living God to be in our hearts and minds. Lord Jesus, wash us with the Living Waters of Your Word. Let us compare EVERYTHING we HEAR and EVERYTHING that we SEE to the TRUTH of words we know in our spirit is from Almighty God!

Let not our hearts be troubled!  Be or good cheer!  Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Know no one after the flesh, but discern their spirits. Test the spirits and see if they are from God!  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understandings.

Open the eyes of my heart dear Lord!  I want to see what You SEE and to hear what Your Spirit of Truth is saying this very moment and throughout this day.  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  John 18:33-38

Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?"

Jesus answered him, "Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?"

Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here."

Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a King. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the Truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My Voice."

Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all.”
