Let us focus our prayers today on - What are we building?
Are we building homes, barns, and shelters? Are we building relationships, family ties, and everlasting covenants? Are we building walls, fences, and storehouses? Are we building bridges, with hopes and dreams? Are we building legacies for our children and their children?
Jesus says, “ . . . I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19
Father God, we pray as You have taught us to pray! Never-the-less it is NOT what we want to have happen in our daily lives. It is Your Kingdom Plan and Your Divine Purpose that we with all of our hearts, souls, and strengths want to participate in Your Glorious Church Universal here on earth, just as it is in Heaven! Amen and Amen!
The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is Matthew 6:19-21 & Isaiah 54:13-17
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves Treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the Peace of your children.
In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from any terror, for it shall not come near you.
