Every Word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar. Two things I ask of You, O Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown You and say, 'Who is the Lord?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the Name of my God.   Proverbs 30:5-9

Ladies and Gentlemen, the question is – What are you hungry for, today?

These are the words of wisdom from the richest man that has ever lived, Solomon, who was king David’s son that he had with Bathsheba (2Samuel 12:24).

Solomon had a personal relationship with Almighty God, because Solomon sought the Lord’s Way of doing things. Solomon actually did, what the Word of the God, tells us TO DO.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Then God said to Solomon: "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life--but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king--wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like."   2Chronicles 1:11-12

Solomon gave us the example of DOING our very best for the Lord our God! We should work as if all of our efforts were providing our very best for the Lord Christ Jesus. Solomon built “The Temple” and trusted the Lord our God to provide the resources and materials and the labor to accomplish this task.

We must all remember that the things that we do for ourselves will die with us. However, the things that we DO for the Lord our God, will live on for all times!  Ask the Lord, what is my assignment to advance the Kingdom of God, here on the earth, to be like it is in Heaven?

Heavenly Father, we pray the words that king David wrote:

As the deer pants for the streams of water, So my soul pants for You, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and meet with God?  (Psalm 42:1-2)

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your Presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the JOY of Your Salvation, and uphold me by Your Generous Spirit.   (Psalm 51:10-11)

Lord Jesus, we have a deep, insatiable hunger for the things of God! Today, we want to seek Your Face and not Your Hand!  You alone can satisfy this spiritual hunger inside of me.

I want to SEE what You see! I want to HEAR what Your Holy Spirit is saying to the people of God, who are called by Your Name. Lord, give us a heart to declare Your Divine Purposes in the earth, just as it is in Heaven!

Amen and Amen!
