Once again we are reminded of the speed of which time is passing!   Hours, days, weeks, months are passing at an ever increasing rate of speed towards Eternity.  Jesus says that we are to work while it is still day, because the night is coming and soon no one will not be able to work. (John 9:4)  Jesus told His earth parents in the temple that He must be about His Father’s Business, (Luke 2:49) telling the truth about His Relationship with Almighty God (John 10:38) and why He was born to die.  Jesus says that we will do greater works (John 14:12) that He did while He walked among us on this earth.

Father in Heaven, show us what we need to be doing to advance Your Kingdom here on earth just as it is Heaven above. Lord, Your Word says that the Harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  We pray Lord to send laborers into Your Harvest of souls.  Lord Jesus, send me to speak Your Truth and testify of Your Goodness and Your Mercies to everyone that needs to hear a Word from You. Order my steps Lord, to follow the path You have set before me, since the foundations of the world.  Breath on me to become more Christ-like in everything that I say and everything that I do today! Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Luke 10:1-5  &  Luke 9:1-6

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His Face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His Harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.

But whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this house.'

Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, ”Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them."

So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the Gospel and healing everywhere.
