What does the Lord our God SAY???

Hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God is ONE!  You shall LOVE the Lord our God with all of your heart, with all of your soul and with all of your strength.

This is the first and great Commandment. The second is like this one: You should love your neighbor, just as yourself.

There are really no other Commandments as important as these!  Mark 12:29-34

How do we show our Love for God?  How do we show our love for our neighbors?   How do we show God’s love for all of us children that are His Creation?

Heavenly Father, we as humans try to complicate so many things in our lives.  Your simple direct truth is: To Love Almighty God, Jehovah, and Him only to worship AND to love our neighbors exactly as we love ourselves! That is it!

Forgive us Lord, for putting other “idols” and other relationships before You. Forgive us Lord for not giving out of the abundance of our heart, to the needs of those people closest to us!  Help us dear Lord to Pray WITH one another and to Pray FOR one another so that things on earth are just like they are already in Heaven!   Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Deuteronomy 6:3-11

Hear O Israel: The LORD our God the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house when you walk by the way when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

So it shall be when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers to Abraham Isaac and Jacob to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build houses full of all good things which you did not fill hewn-out wells which you did not dig vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full—

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is NO SEPARATION between Church and State. We are ALL governed by God’s Laws. We are ONE Nation under the Authority of Almighty God, because He is our Sovereign.  Our founding fathers began the first Continental Congress with a three hour prayer session.  The words of our Constitution and our Declaration of Independence are filled with facts about our relationship with our Creator God.

“Congress shall make no law for the establishment of religion” – that means government leaders cannot create a binding law that every citizen of the United States must worship as the Buddhists worship. That also means that “Sharia Law” does not supersedes God’s Law and we ALL will not be forced to worship as Muslims worship in this country.

Then beware lest you forget the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage. You shall not go after other gods the gods of the peoples who are all around you   Deuteronomy 6:12&14
