How should we live before Almighty God?  We must be more concerned about what God SAYS and what God SEES in us, than what any other person may think about us.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:8

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how ANGRY people are lately. There seems to be NO JOY in any area of our government. The news reports are about financial crisis, record foreclosures, high unemployment, spies among us, bribes to members of congress, and false accusations about charges of racisms. Even the President only laughs or smiles when he makes jokes about the Republicans and blames all of his problems on the former administration. What would Jesus say about the President’s attitude and actions towards ALL of the people of America?  What if as we watched the evening news tonight, we prayed – Lord Jesus, what is Your Perspective on what we are doing as a nation?  What does Your Word say about a “good report”? Finally, what would You Lord have me say, or lead me TO DO that would reflect Your Divine Purpose in the lives of my family, my local church family, my city, my state, and my nation?

Lord Jesus, my heart belongs to YOU!  My Trust and my Confidence is in Your Completed Work of the Cross for my Redemption.  I believe that the Power of Almighty God raised Christ from the dead and Jesus is now seated at the Right Hand of Throne ever living to make intercessions for us and for all of mankind.  Hear our cry Oh Lord and HEAL OUR LAND!   Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is   2Corinthians 9:5-8

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation. But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all Grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Ladies and Gentlemen, what is the purpose of your heart?  God’s Word says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Luke 6:45   We should SAY and we must DO everything that we do as if Christ Jesus our Lord was standing right next to us. Let His Light shine through us and be Christ-like, be imitators of Christ Jesus our Lord!

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart always BE acceptable in Your Sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.   Psalms 19:14

Amen and Amen!
