We do not usually recommend books other than the Bible for reading, however, we have a most whole hearted recommendation for you to read, download, or listen to as you drive.

For those of you that need to know more about the subject of “Prayer” the best book on this matter is by Richard J. Foster that is simply titled “Prayer – Finding the Heart’s True Home

Father God, we want to THANK YOU for those people who record these concepts that You have taught us. What a blessing that these principles can be taught and passed on to the next generations.

Lord Jesus, Your Disciples asked You to TEACH US TO PRAY!   We read in Your Word that sometimes we do not know “How to Pray” but the Holy Spirit will make intercessions for us. Romans 8:26   We believe that You Lord Jesus, are seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of Almighty God and that You are praying and making intercessions for us and for all of mankind.  Ephesians 1:15-23

May those who find and read or listen to this book, be BLESSED and abound with all spiritual blessings, through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Matthew 6:5-15

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come. Your ‘will’ be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory FOREVER! Amen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this prayer outline can be personalized and expand to reflect our sincere heart’s desire in our sweet communion with Christ Jesus our Lord!

We acknowledge our relationship with God, our Heavenly Father – we cry ABBA – Father which means that we have been adopted into the Family of God. We are sons and daughters of the Most High God.  He is Faithful to keep His Promises to us as His Children.

We Worship the Names of God as they reflect His Character and His True Nature towards us. Great Jehovah – I AM that I AM  The one true God of our earthly fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!  We are Created in His Image and in His Likeness.  Remember that Almighty God breathed the Breath of Life into our lungs.

The Spirit of the Living Resurrected Christ Jesus lives inside of me!  We can confidently ask that His Kingdom be established and His Divine Purpose BE DONE in and through my life here on earth, just as it is ordained, commissioned, and empowered from Heaven on High!

Feed us on Your Word today!  Let us hunger and thirst after the Words, actions, and attitudes of Jesus.  Bless the foods that we ingest today to sustain our bodies for our service to His Kingdom.  God provided daily manna to the children of Israel in the wilderness.  If they gathered up more than a day’s amount, it would spoil.  They were supplied enough to eat every day for forty years.

Forgive us our debts, in exactly the same manner that we have forgiven others that owe us.  When we realize how much that Christ has Forgiven me, then I must freely and deliberately FORGIVE all of those people, family members, co-workers, pastors, priests, rabbis, teachers, and strangers that have hurt, harmed, or hindered me.  This attitude of complete and total forgiveness is the key to unlock the power of God’s Love towards us.

Lead us Lord, direct my paths, order my steps. Lead me into Your green pastures and beside Your still waters.  Lead me in paths of Righteousness – right way of living.  We can overcome all of our enemies by the appropriation of the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  We can defeat the devil’s influence over us in the same manner that Jesus does by quoting the Word of God – IT IS WRITTEN . . . . . .

For Yours is the Kingdom, and we serve an AWESOME GOD!

Yours is the Power, that same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead is in me!  Greater is He that is in me, than he (the devil and all of his demons) that is in this world.

Yours is the Glory, we do all that we do for the Honor of our Lord.  We obey His Word and serve Him with Gladness and singleness of heart.  We always want TO DO what is pleasing to the Lord our God.  We work as unto the Lord, we live as unto the Lord.  In all that we SAY and all that we DO, we want to be just like Jesus.  Christ in me the Hope of Glory!

This we ask of the Father, believing in the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit, ONE GOD now and forever more – Amen and Amen!
